About the Robert R. Spitzer Memorial Scholarship
These scholarships are named in honor of Dr. Robert R. Spitzer, a member of DTS who became a prominent leader in agribusiness, higher education, and public service. The purpose of these scholarships is to financially support male students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). Children and grandchildren of DTS alumni (Brothers & Sisters) are also eligible regardless of their field of study at UW Madison. Applicants must be incoming Freshman, Sophomores or Juniors and must also be prospective members of Alpha Pi who intend to fully participate in the activities of Alpha Pi.
About the David A. Wieckert Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is named in honor of Dr. David A. Wieckert, Professor Emeritus of Dairy Science who was an exceptional long-time member, mentor, and donor to DTS. The purpose of the scholarship is to financially support men and women enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). Children and grandchildren of DTS alumni (Brothers & Sisters) are also eligible regardless of their field of study at UW Madison. The students must be incoming Freshman, Sophomores or Juniors. The students must also be prospective members of Alpha Pi fraternity, who intend to fully participate in the activities of Alpha Pi.
